Yalkut Moreshet, Holocaust Documentation and Research is the longest running academic journal devoted to Holocaust studies.  Many of the articles that have appeared in the journal over the past 40 years are now cited regularly as bibliographic resources in Israeli universities.

Yalkut Moreshet has become a standard in every university, public, and Jewish library that holds a collection of Holocaust studies material, and historians and students depend on its articles for their research.

Yalkut Moreshet publishes research articles, source material, testimonies and reviews.  Over the years, leading Holocaust historians, such as Israel Gutman, Yehuda Bauer, Dina Porat, Dan Michman, David Bankier, Dalia Ofer, and many others, have contributed regularly to the journal.  International historians, in growing numbers, also contribute articles to the publication.

Originally published in Hebrew, Yalkut Morehset is now available in English.  Subscriptions to the journal are offered in either language.

What historians have said about Yalkut Moreshet:

"The journal has made a significant contribution to the widening knowledge of the Holocaust both for students and for a broad audience of interested people.  Publishing Yalkut Moreshet in English serves the important objective of making this research material available to people around the world."

Professor Israel Gutman, founder of Moreshet, and Historical Advisor at Yad Vashem

“Yalkut Moreshet is one of the first two periodicals dedicated entirely to Holocaust studies in the broadest sense. It publishes a wide variety of studies, detailed research, broad overviews, philosophical treatises, testimonies and books. As such, it has become a cornerstone of Israeli Holocaust research.”

Professor Dan Michman, Bar Ilan University and Chief Historian at Yad Vashem
