The exclusion of the Jewish people in Germany<\/strong>:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n\u201cthe entire national community becomes enlightened about the Jewish question; it learns that the national community is a community of blood; for the first time it understands race thinking and, instead of an overly theoretical approach to the Jewish question, it is confronted with a concrete solution.\u201d

The Nirenberg lows are known, but in Germany there was more than 2000\u00a0 anti- Jewish lows were legislated and many of them meant to deflect the daily life of the Jewish people and their relations with the non-Jewish German people. Through learning and getting to know those rules, we’ll learn about the lows influence on the Jewish community and how they implement the racist perceptions among the non-Jewish people in Germany.<\/p>\n\n\n\nLeadership in decision junctions:<\/strong><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n“Among those managers that doing their work faithfully, with dedication, from a sincere collective devotion, there are others, which don\u2019t have the same morality”

The Jewish leadership during the holocaust were faced with unprecedentedly dilemmas and decisions in the human history.\u00a0 In this workshop we’ll get to know the different reactions of the Jewish leadership in different locations. We’ll examine the Jewish people attitude to the ones who seated informal nor un-formal leadership position and we’ll cope with moral and ethical questions about the essence of leadership and the whey it was expressed during the holocaust.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Dilemmas in the camps life:<\/strong><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n“The most guilt were lay upon the system, on the totalitaric nation structure itself”<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n(Primo Levi, “The Drowned and the Saved”<\/em>)<\/p>\n\n\n\nThis workshop deals with the daily life of the Jewish prisoners in the concentration and extermination camps. In this workshop we’ll get to know the main dilemmas that the prisoners were be forced to decide upon, day after day, hour after an hour. We’ll also try to coup with the moral issues\u00a0 that rise from the little choice possibilities that the prisoners had in the camps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The non-Jewish victims of the Nazis:<\/strong><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n“Genocide is an intent try of a government \u00a0to exterminate a distinct social group \u2013 people, nation, ethnic or religious group \u2013 through mass murder.”<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n(from the UN Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This workshop sis a research workshop, in its we’ll focus on different groups in the population that were persecuted by the Nazis. Through examination of universal and particular aspects, we’ll deepen our knowledge in the holocaust subject in other persecution cases. We’ll learn about more “others” and test our point of views on the ethical meanings and lessons from that time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
