What is Moreshet Archive?

The Moreshet archive is part of Moreshet – Mordechai Anielevich Memorial Holocaust Study and Research Center, a center for the study and research of the Holocaust and Antisemitism. The Center was founded in 1963 by a group of Holocaust survivors, many of whom were fighters in the ghettos and Partisans. Their goal was to commemorate the heroism and the Jewish resistance during the Second World War and the Holocaust. One of the Founders' main actions was to collage an intensive collection of original documents, papers, photographs and memorabilia from the Holocaust years. Today the archive contains hundreds of thousands of original items.
