FES Israel in cooperation with the Ghetto Fighters’ House Museum and Moreshet International Center for Holocaust Documentation, Research and Education invite you to a live radio play of the autobiography “Light One Candle” of Holocaust survivor Solly Ganor. The theatrical monologue will be directed and performed by Thomas Darchinger as part of his artistic democracy campaign.
LIGHT ONE CANDLE (DAS ANDERE LEBEN) is the outstandingly realized live radio play with over 200,000 listeners to date and a large number of top German politicians as supporters. Under the slogan “with art for democracy” Thomas Darchinger’s play is considered a beacon project in the German-speaking world. The event makes it possible to directly experience what democratic values mean for society and each individual.
Light One Candle is performed with an introductory keynote speech, the live radio play and a subsequent appeal and direct dialogue with the audience.
