The Mordechai Anielevich Exhibition

The Mordechai Anielevich Exhibition displays different aspects of Jewish life prewar and during world war II, with special emphasis on the Warsaw Ghetto uprising.

The exhibition includes:

• Acquaintance with the prewar Jewish world through the story of the Jewish town “Turzysk”.
• Description of the factors in the rising of the Nazi party to power in Germany and the development of the “Final solution” – the destruction of Europe’s Jews.
• Getting to know different aspects of Jewish rebellions in the Ghettos.
• Display different dilemmas that the Jewish leadership (Judenrat) dealt with in the Ghettos.
• Parts of journals, songs, and paintings that give expression to the emotions, thoughts and deeds of Jewish children in the Holocaust.
• stories about the heroic deeds of young members of the youth movements that lead the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising.

The Mordechai Anielevich Exhibition brings into discussion a vital subject and through it we ask to educate the next generation to values of belonging, responsibility and acting for the benefit of others and for the society.

In 2020, a virtual version of the Mordechai Anielevich Exhibition has launched which lets us bring all the subjects and discussions the exhibition touches, to the computer of every student.
