We in Moreshet institute have prepared lessons and educational materials on different subjects for free usage. The lessons and educational materials are meant for 7th to 12th grade students (unless the lesson name suggests otherwise), to use in class or in non-formal educational frames. In addition, here you can find texts to use on Holocaoust remembrance day ceremonies.

Short videos about exemplary figures in Warsaw ghetto

Mordechai Anielevich, a member of Hashomer Hatzair movement. Anielevich was best known as the commander of the Jewish Combat Organization and Warsaw GhettoUprising But actually, he was very active even before the fighting and uprising took place. There is a reason he was the only youth movement member to be awarded a full article from Imanuel Ringelblum dedicated just about him.

Stefa Wilczynska, an orphanage manager in Warsaw before the war and in the Ghetto. A lot of people know the story of Janusz Korczak while Wilczynska’s story didn’t get the proper publicity. In recent years wilczynska did get more acknowledgment from history.

Tosia Altman, a member of Hashomer Hatzair leadership during the war and the one that reestablished the movement’s activity throughout Poland after destruction caused by the outbreak of WWII. Altman was a leading member of the Jewish combat organization and its emissary in the Aryanside.

Imanuel Ringelblum, Historian and the leftisit Poale Zion party member. He was the founder of the  “Oneg Shabat” archive and the living soul of this unprecedented documentation project. Also Ringelblum was active in the social welfare field and stood in the head of the self help project in the  Warsaw Ghetto.
