What drives them to make these decisions, even to the point of risking their own lives? Why was it the youth movement members that lead the uprisings? What help them to choose to rebel? What lead them? What can we learn from the youth movement uprisings in Holocaust?

In the exhibition well get to know the unique characteristics of the youth movements both before and during WWII. We’ll be exposed to the different operation methods  of youth movement members– the movement’s Kens (local branches), passing information, money and weapons between the Ghettos, fights in the Ghettos and outside as partisans. Well focus on the idea of ‘rebellion’ as a main ideological base in the youth movements, which lead to acts of bravery, leadership and shared decision making. We’ll try to figure out what we can take from what they did then, to our lives today. We’ll do all of that through journal episodes, poems, photographs and other activities.
